The comments I received on my original page spreads were essentially that they were uncreative and boring. I chose to add in more unique design elements the second time around as well as attempt to fit additional photos in the limited amount of space we were given.




Red circles on bottom designs are distracting and actually crop Arbus's photos in ways she never intended.
ReplyDeleteThe top set is much more successful. Headings are nice, and use of red is effective. I Think the top right photo seems much more indicative of Arbus viewpoint and this photo should be bigger. The tattoo man is not as visually powerful and could be the smaller image. The red frame around one photo is distracting; why not just leave the space the color of the background.
